BERITA is an exclusive, high-level communication platform that bridges the gap between the Minister of Defence and top management officials with the Defence Working Community. This module facilitates the timely dissemination of official announcements, policy updates, and critical information while providing a fast and secure communication channel. BERITA is designed to foster transparency, trust, and stronger institutional relationships, ensuring that important voices are heard, and vital information reaches the community promptly and reliably.

BONUS is designed to recognise, appreciate, and reward user engagement within the app ecosystem. 2.1 REGISTRATION & LOGIN

How do I register as a new user?

Download the apps, then tap on “Register” and complete the information needed.

What information is needed for the registration?

You will need:

  • Full Name
  • MYKAD atau Kad Tentera (untuk imbas Optical Character Recognition (OCR)) Nombor telefon bimbit
  • A selfie with your ID
  • Referral code (for family members only)
  • Status within MINDEF
  • OTP code from the system

Is there a verification process after registration?

Yes. Your data will be verified against official records before your account is approved. If approved / verified, you will receive an OTP code for registration.

What happens if my application is rejected or needs to be resubmitted?

  • Rejected: You can reapply; please ensure the information given is accurate.
  • Resubmit: Edit and resubmit your application.
  • In process: Wait for the verification and contact support.

How to login?

Use your Military Card/Veteran ID and personal information for verification. Log in by using your password or biometric authentication.

Is the PERWIRA Super App secure?

Yes. The app is equipped with data encryption and protected by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Use the “Forgot Password” option and reset it by your registered email.

Who can access PERNAMA Shop?

Access is exclusive to Ministry of Defence Malaysia (MINDEF) personnel, veterans, and their registered dependents.

1.2 ORDERING & PURCHASING

How can I order groceries through the PERNAMA Shop?

You can browse PERNAMA Shop, select items, and place an order for in-store pickup at your chosen PERNAMA store.

What types of products does PERNAMA Shop offer in this app?

PERNAMA Shop offers a variety of groceries including packaged goods, household essentials, and personal care products.

Can I filter products by need (e.g., toothpaste, instant noodles)?

Yes. Advanced filters are available for purchases based on user needs and preferences.

Can I easily reorder my previous grocery shopping list?

At the moment no. This feature will be made available in the next phase.

1.3 PAYMENTS & DISCOUNTS

What payment methods are supported at PERNAMA Shop?

Pay at the PERNAMA Shop counter upon pickup (no online payment for Phase 1).

Are there exclusive discounts for MINDEF personnel?

Yes. PERNAMA Shop offers exclusive discounts only for MINDEF personnel registered with De Cart. If eligible, discounts will be applied during payment at the PERNAMA store.

1.4 ORDER PICKUP

Can I pick up my grocery order at a physical PERNAMA branch?

Yes. Choose your PERNAMA store location and pickup time during the Checkout process.

Can I schedule grocery pickup in advance?

Yes. You can select the date and time for pickup during the Checkout process for added convenience.

Is there a delivery option for groceries?

Not at this time. Pickup is available at selected PERNAMA Store branches. This option will be displayed during the Checkout process.

How will I receive notifications when my order is ready for pickup?

The app will send real-time notifications about your order status, including preparation and readiness for pickup.

1.5 RECEIPTS, RETURNS & TRANSACTION HISTORY

Will I receive a receipt or invoice for grocery purchases?

Yes. Receipts will be issued at the PERNAMA Store after payment.

Can I review my past orders and transaction history?

Yes, the app keeps a complete record of your grocery purchases and payments for your reference and budget management.

Can I return or exchange grocery items if there's a problem?

Eligibility for returns or exchanges depends on the store's policy. Contact the PERNAMA Store for further action.

What happens if the items I ordered are out of stock?

You will be notified, and options for alternative items or a refund will be offered, at the PERNAMA Shop.

1.6 PURCHASE FEATURES

Can I purchase from multiple PERNAMA Store branches in one order?

No. Each order must be placed per branch. You need to complete one order before starting a new one at a different location.

How do I know which items are available at my chosen PERNAMA Store branch?

Once you select your desired branch, the product list will be automatically filtered to display only items available at that location.

Can I update or cancel an order after placing it?

Yes, but only within a limited time frame. You can modify or cancel an order before it is processed by the branch. Check the Order Status page for available options.

You can read it in the News Room within the app, under the Latest News section.

Is the news in the NEWS section verified and official?

Yes, all news and announcements are curated and published by the Ministry of Defence or officially appointed representatives.

How often will the News be updated?

It is updated regularly with policy changes, announcements, and important events.

Can I search for previous news articles in the app?

Yes, but older articles are only kept for a certain time in the news section.
